December 6 – Today’s Featured Pieces – Daily Craftsman

Today we are going to look at some amazing pieces from our readers! Each one of them caught our eye for being very unique. These pieces are either first builds of their kind or just a weekend project that blossomed into an amazing piece. Hopefully you enjoy them as much as we do.

At Daily Craftsman we like to see every project that you have brought to life with your hands! Each image is user uploaded from shops all across the world! If you’d like to see if your work has what it takes to make it into the featured pieces, all you have to do is upload a photo of your work to our site!

From Bethany Burkhardt: I initially was inspired by a wedding photo of a beautiful door for the combined shapes of octagons and stars using trim pieces from the home improvement store. I wanted to make a coffee table rather than a wall art piece all along. This project started out in May 2011 and I spent a few weekends on it before I went back to school for my doctorate. Then 5 years later (and graduating) I finally had time to finish!
